Congratulations 2014 Goose Creek Island Graduates

Congratulations to five Goose Creek Islanders who will graduate tonight from Pamlico County High School.

Michael O'Steen is the son of Cathy and Tony O'Steen of Hobucken. His grandmother is Diane Sadler and the late Murray Sadler of Hobucken. He is planning to studying nursing at Craven Community College in the fall.

Natasha Campbell is the daughter of Stanley and Angela Armstrong of Hobucken.  She plans to attend Craven Community College's Certified Nursing Assistant program.

Violet Mayo-Britt is the daughter of Shirley and Casper Ireland of Lowland and Donnie Britt of Rocky Mount. She is the granddaughter of Shirley Williamson Ireland.  Violet will be attending Meredith College in Raleigh in the fall and plans to study Early Childhood Education.

Logan Anderson of Hobucken is the son of Kristia Lee Anderson and Shane Anderson. His the grandson of Dorothy and Nelson Lee of Hobucken and Kip and Hilton Foster and great grandson of Sally Anderson of Hobucken. Logan will be attending the Paul Hall Center for Maritime Training and Education in Piney Point, Maryland.

Matthew Brousard of Lowland is the son of Angie Brousard.  Matt is the grandson of Dana Brousard of Aurora and the late Beverly Foreman Brousard of Lowland. Matt will be attending Wake Technical Community College in Raleigh this fall and will be studying Simulation and Game Design.
